Naoko Nadiah Hama

Naoko Nadiah Hama is a is an International Kikizakeshi, certified by the SSI (Sake Service Institute).

Naoko was born in North London to Japanese parents who arrived in the UK in the early 70s.
She has been a part of the Sozai team since its beginnings, as a sake sommelier, designer, and writer.
Naoko also runs the Japanese ‘So Restaurant’, with her husband Zu Tanaka since 2020. The cosy restaurant serves a variety of Japanese Tapas, specialities prepared over lava rocks imported from Japan, with selected sake and wine.
Naoko loves to travel, exploring new flavours and terrain.
